If you have goofed up the mysql root password on your SME server, use this procedure to reset it back to a normal configuration.
As 'root', enter the following commands:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld stop
/etc/e-smith/events/actions/conf-mysql-password
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start
You can find the current mysql root password in this file:
/root/.my.cnf
